As you might have seen, I bought my lush mid-winter Christmas haul back in July. However, the real Christmas edition this last October/November/December had some additional items and I couldn't help myself!
In October I headed into the city to meet my aunt at te airport, and I couldn't help but go into Lush! I planned on only buying a gift for my aunt and some Rub Rub Rub shower scrub for myself. I got the scrub, and a honeybee bath bomb for my aunt. But I was too drawn to all the lovely Christmas items not to get anything! So I grabbed a Snowman Fun Kit and a block of Yog Nog soap.
I have plenty of things that I need to use up, but in the lead-up to Christmas I felt inclined to get Christmassy and use the Fun kit. I also had my brothers over and I wanted them to have a go with it!
So I stole this image below from Google because I forgot to take photos!
At the store, there was the option of the Fun kit in the pot above, or in plastic like the other Fun Bars. Of course I chose the pot, because not only can I add to my free face-mask collection, but I thought it would be much less messy when it is contained!
I was very happy about the pot - I was able to take it in the shower with me and have no worries about it getting wet like the other fun bars, and could easily put leftovers back in nice and tidily.
I loved the smell of it - kind of fruity, apparently it is carrot oil that gives it this scent, but don't be alarmed it's nothing like carrots!
The colours looked so lovely in the pot. The majority was white for the snowman body, and then a little orange and black for the decorations. I am glad that there were only small amounts of the orange and black. The colours were ridiculously dark and runny. The minute they touched a little water, there was colour everywhere. Not so great when you have little people splashing around, with black going all over the walls. It also can't be great for the skin, all that dye.
However, that was the only negative? And once we used up the colours, all was fine.
All in all, another great Lush product, which provides entertainment for the kids. They now know Lush as the "play dough soap shop" hehe
